Rae and Ron were married on April 18, 1996, in Hawaii. The ceremony took place in a garden at "Above Heaven's Gate", as the couple was surrounded by flowers, trees, and waterfalls. After the Hawaii ceremony, the couple had a 'traditional' wedding/vow renewal on July 27, 1996, in Delaware for the friends and family that could not join them for their destination wedding.
