The Dress of the Month Contest is proud to announce our new February 2001 winner, Heidi and Eric, who were married on April 8, 2000. Here's Heidi's wedding gown description:

"Simply the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. The gold embroidery on the bodice and the chapel-length train with double tails, along with the true corset back, made this Maggie Sattero dress. I wore a two-tier fingertip veil with satin piping & opera-length satin gloves."

[Our January 2001 'Dress of the Month']
Here's the "Dress of the Month Contest" January 2001 winner...Christi and Ryan

The Dress of the Month Contest is proud to announce our new January 2001 winner, Christi and Ryan, who were married on March 25, 2000. Here's Christi's gown description:

"I had been searching for a dress that was classy and modern, but without a heavy skirt. I came across this Mori Lee (by Madeline Gardner) dress by accident and almost didn't even try it on! I immediately fell in love with the simplicity of the sheath skirt coupled with the detailed train. My mother and my maid of honor saw me in it several weeks later and just by the look in their eyes, I knew it was the one!

The dress has a bodice that includes a squared scooped neckline with short sleeves of battenberg lace. The midriff also has a wide band of battenberg lace, as well as, the detachable chapel length train. The most wonderful thing about my dress is the way it made me feel – like a princess on the most important day of my life – I'll never forget it!"

[Our December 2000 'Dress of the Month']

The Dress of the Month Contest is proud to announce our new December 2000 winner, Kimberly and Steve, who were married on June 17, 2000. Here's Kimberly's gown description:

"I wore a white ballgown made of peau-de-soie silk. It featured a natural waistline with boxpleats, jewel neckline, and chapel-length train. The shoulder straps were adorned with little bows, along with the the chapel length train. The bodice had delicate embroidery and beadwork that really stood out in certain lighting. I wore a crystal and pearl tiara with a two layered, silver trimmed, elbow length veil."

The rules are few. Unlike the Dress Contest, anyone is eligible to participate in the Dress of the Month Contest. (The Dress of the Month Contest is not limited to Newlywed Web Ring members only!) We want real brides in real wedding gowns. No supermodel magazine scans or "on the rack" shots, please. (Multiple shots from multiple angles preferred.) E-mailed photos are not accepted!

Please enter the Dress of the Month Contest only once every three months. Contest winners are asked to display the award (shown here) at their web site, with a link back to this URL. Photos entered must be available for current and future use/promotion by the contest owner. The Dress of the Month Contest is privately owned, and your photos will not be used for profit!

As this contest grows, this web site will be continually updated to archive each Dress of the Month. Good luck to everyone who decides to enter, and as always..."may the best dress win"!
