The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new February 2006 winning couple, Frances and Eddie. They were married on August 4, 2005, in Banff, Alberta. Here is the February 2006 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:
"My gown...was beyond my dreams. It was the first dress that caught my attention in pictures. It was the first dress I tried on. A feeling you cannot verbalize. It was a gown from the Rena Koh couture collection, style Aurora in ivory.
I live in Texas and no salon carried the style I wanted. I found a store that was selling other Rena dresses, but definitely not 'the one'. The store was seven hours away from home. Since I wanted to try on the dress, I asked the salon to fly in the sample gown for me and we made the drive. Seven hours there. One hour at the salon. Seven hours back. But it was worth it!
I saw the dress hanging and I knew. I felt it! Seven months later I had it in my hands. Three months later, I wore it! I had never felt so beautiful before. It was like magic!"
