The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new November 2005 winning couple, Kate and Brian. They were married on August 27, 2005, at Pacific Shores Nature Resort. Here is the November 2005 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:
"I only tried on one other dress before buying my wedding gown - a whopping two and a half years before our wedding date. I bought it far too big for me, but dreamed of how it would look once it was altered.
Once I had it altered, it was perfect. Ivory and strapless, it is covered in silver embroidery of flowers. The top is very tight and has detail beading, and the bottom is very full. The outer layer of the skirt is a net material, covered in the beautiful embroidery. It does not have a train, but is slightly longer at the back than the front. The skirt is full, with 12 layers in total. I felt like a Princess wearing it, and have not seen another dress like it anywhere."
