The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new February 2005 winning couple, Shawna and Andrew. They were married on August 21, 2004, at Tigh-Na-Mara Resort on Vancouver Island. Here is the February 2005 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:
"When you find the perfect wedding dress, you know it. It is what you always dreamed of without ever realizing it. It looks better on you than anyone else. A bride should shine and even glow in her wedding dress and I did. My dress was phenomenal.
My dress has a sophisticated elegance about it. I fell in love with the cut of the sash gown, the dropped waist, the simple strapless bodice, and the magnificent fabric. And the embroidered sash was that unique touch that I loved! To add that extra personal touch I had the initial of my new last name embroidered on the train. I wanted the 'wow!' effect and I got it. All through the night comments kept coming on my beautiful dress. To top it off I had the most gorgeous bustle! I couldn't have asked for anything more!"
