The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new June 2004 winning couple Beth and Bob. They were married on June 6, 2003 at the Strathallan Hotel in Rochester, New York. Here is the June 2004 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"One of the most frequent comments heard at our wedding was 'What a gorgeous dress!'

Shortly after we were engaged I saw the dress in a bridal magazine, and when I went to try it on I knew that it was the dress for me. What made the dress so unique is the beautiful gold embroidery that adorned the bodice and the skirt. The gold thread embroidery combined with sequins and pearls to form a beautiful vine-like pattern that trailed up from the center of the skirt both in the front and the back; the latter looked absolutely gorgeous when bustled!

The skirt itself was a sheer organza overlay, which gave the dress a very romantic, feminine feel. The spaghetti straps were enhanced by tiny seed pearls, and the entire effect was breathtaking. I was only able to try on the dress in ivory, but as I had always wanted to wear white on my wedding day, I took a leap of faith when I ordered the dress in white. I hope you'll agree that I made the right decision!"
