The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new April 2004 winning couple from whispering-wings.com. Here is the April 2004 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:
"I wanted my dress to reflect my personality. I wanted off-the-shoulder and simple. My mother wanted to see me in traditional and fancy. I tried this dress on the advice of the shop owner. My mother gasp when I came out wearing it and I knew I had found my dress. Elegant, unforgettable and simple.
The dress was made for me. I wore it exactly as it was purchased and never had to have it altered.
The dress is made of white satin, with an off-the-shoulder design and a cathedral length train. The train was adorned with lace cut-outs, detailed with pearls. The bodice was also adorned with extensive pearl beadwork which made the dress very heavy.
I felt very beautiful for the first time in my life. I still look at my wedding pictures and feel beautiful."
