The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new May 2003 winning couple - Kristy and Jason. The couple was married on August 17th, 2002, at the St. Andrew's Cathedral in Victoria, British Columbia. Here is the May 2003 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:
"My wedding gown was something right out of a fairytale. It is a gorgeous old world style European / Venice lace combination with a corset bodice, laced back, aproned detachable cathedral train and ball gown skirt.
My gown holds a lot of meaning for me. It was the first one I had seen and liked in a bridal magazine. I searched for a store that had it and when I could not find one that had it in stock, I realized that I would have to search for a store that would order it in for me on spec. I had to be certain I wanted this gown because before they would order it in it had to be paid for in full! I was sure I wanted it and it has turned out to be truly perfect. Like everything else in life, you have to go for what you want and be willing to take a chance!"
