The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new April 2003 winning couple - Shelley and Leonard. The couple was married on September 1, 2001, at the Grace Temple Baptist Church in Lawnside, New Jersey. Here is the April 2003 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:
"My gown was a white strapless by Eve of Milady. It featured a basque waistline and full ballroom skirt made of organza. The bodice was tastefully decorated with just enough beading to make it sparkle. Appliqués accented the bottom of the skirt and 5-foot train. A beautiful flounce was added to the base of the lower back with accent flowers to polish the look.
I wore a tiara made of white gold accented by rhinestones and pearls, similar to the one wore by Princess Diana. It was topped with a 'bubble veil' made of three layers of fine tulle."
