The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new October 2002 winning couple -- Nicole and Raviv. The couple was married on September 1, 2001 at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades. Here is the October 2002 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"The minute I tried on the dress I knew it was for me. It is a strapless Victorian-style gown with a light delicate tooling and beading on the bust. The back has a beautiful chiffon swag that extends from either side of the dress to meet in the lower middle of the train, which is connected by a delicate flower. When the dress is bustled it makes me feel like Cinderella in her ball gown. And the swag in the back of the dress bustles up to become a beautiful bow."

The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new September 2002 winning couple -- Kathryn and Christopher. The couple was married on Sunday, July 14, 2002, in a beautiful outdoor gazebo ceremony in Northwest Indiana. Here is the September 2002 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"The first thing my Mom said when she saw my dress was, 'It looks like a Spanish dancer's dress!' But I was smitten, and I was determined to have my colorful dress. It's a strapless two-piece with a lace-up back. There is no beading, just embroidery. What makes this dress so striking is the trim on the top of the bust and slash down the skirt is crimson red. It features gold and silver embroidery down the red inset, and on the cathedral-length train as well. The red slash down the skirt is asymmetrical, which is flattering on a plus-size bride such as myself. In the end, Mom fell in love with it too, saying how it matched my personality well. I'm thankful that I was able to wear such an unusual and lovely dress for the 'Big Day'!"
