The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new August 2002 winning couple -- Beth and Chris. The couple was married on June 29, 2002 in a beautiful outdoor gazebo ceremony at the Mansion. Here is the August 2002 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"I wore a strapless, chapel length dress with an A-Line silhouette and beaded and lace trim. This was actually my second dress, because after going on a wedding diet, I could not longer fit into my first one! I was also unhappy because my first dress was rum pink and ivory, and deep down I felt that pure white was so beautiful and elegant. The style I wore was suggested by one of my bridesmaids, and I never thought I could fall in love with a strapless dress, but I did!"

The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new July 2002 winning couple -- Michelle and John. The couple was married on August 24, 2001 at the Wedding Pavilion in Walt Disney World. Here is the July 2002 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"I knew this was the gown for me the moment I saw it on the mannequin at the store. It was the last one they had in stock. It seemed destiny agreed, as the gown was exactly my size! I had wanted a gown that spoke to my own personality as well as my emotions -- and the delicate rum pink roses, where the swashes of rum pink gathered on the off-shoulder sleeves, were just that perfect, telling touch.

The A-line gown was a soft ivory satin, with a floral pattern of lace and beads to accentuate the top and train. Ribbons of rum pink, gathered by roses of the same color, flowed down the train like a gentle cascade, creating an image of gentle beauty perfect for our fairytale wedding in Walt Disney World."
