The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new February 2002 winning couple -- Anne and David. The couple was married on July 1, 2001 at Ballara, located at Eltham, Victoria in Australia. Here is the February 2002 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"My wedding gown had a strapless corsetted top with a long train and A-line skirt. It featured embroidered patterns along the top and bottom hems of the dress, including floral patterns on the split front. The back of the gown had double-pleated 'tails'. I wore a two-tiered veil with white satin piping, gathered at the back of my upswept hairstyle -- and polished off the look with a jeweled necklace and white opera-length gloves."

The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new January 2002 winning couple -- Anna and Marcus. The couple was married on November 11, 2000 at Saint Birgitta's Chapel in Sweden. Here is the January 2002 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"I was planning to wear my mother's wedding gown but a seamstress misunderstood me. I ended up with no dress and less than a month until our wedding day! I composed myself and found the wedding gown of my 'winter-wedding dream' at a small store in my hometown. My A-line dress was a two-piece, which included a dress and jacket that is a part of the gown. The satin gown featured a square neckline and embroidery on the bodice. The jacket was form-fitted with beautiful simulated fur detailing! In spite of the early troubles, I got to be the queen in my winter dream in the end!"
