The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new December 2001 winning couple -- Jennifer and James. The couple was married on May 19, 2001 at the Hammond Castle Museum in Magnolia, Massachusetts. Here is the December 2001 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride:

"I was looking for a dress with a gothic feel to it, since that is my style and it would be perfect for our castle wedding. The dress I chose was ivory with an embroidered bodice by Pronovias. The dress had a layered chiffon train and floor length chiffon sleeves. The dress was finished in the back with approximately 30 small buttons (that were very difficult for my matron of honor to fasten)."

The Dress of the Month Contest is honored to present our new November 2001 winning couple -- Julie and John. The couple was married on April 28, 2001 at the Chapel at Chestnut Square in McKinney, Texas. Here is the November 2001 Dress of the Month's description as told by the bride herself:

"My wedding gown is a 2-piece, ivory strapless Maggie Sottero design. The top piece is corset style, with ivory flowers embroidered vertically on the bodice. The bottom piece (skirt) is ivory satin, A-line shaped, and with a chapel length train. The entire skirt is covered with an organza overlay, which has corresponding embroidered flowers and leaves from the bodice around the bottom of the dress and train."
