hear what they were saying...much less me on the front row... I don’t even think the videographer was able to capture audible vows on film. They honestly had the shortest ceremony (civil or religious) that I've ever attended. But it was still beautiful, all the same -- and I don't think I'd change a thing! (Except maybe to be able to hear their vows...) The new Mr. and Mrs. Pollman chose "Trumpet Tune" by Henry Purcell as their recessional.
After family photos, at 8:15 p.m. the happy couple descended the grand staircase at the Petroleum Club down into the dining and ballroom. They shared their first dance to "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain. Because it was a combined Persian and American ceremony/reception, they started with dancing.
